A very hot and sunny day on the Hudson. No wind and no waves.

Push off on Moodna Creek at the boat ramp above the Route 9W bridge. We paddled about 0.7 miles until we reached the outlet to the mighty Hudson through a small bridge.
We crossed to Pollopel Island and paddled downriver to the US Military Academy at West Point where we made a u-turn.
After crossing the river to Constitution Island, we explored the river channels around the island and took a lunch break near the railroad tracks to stretch our legs and get some shade.
